ARVADA – The Colorado Health Care Association, the largest coalition of nursing homes and assisted living residences in the state, announced in September that Nicole (Nikki) Overby, the executive director of Arbor View Senior Living, has been named Colorado’s 2026 Assisted Living Administrator of the Year. The award was announced at the CHCA’s annual “Spotlight on Excellence” event in Denver on Sept. 24.
“It is great to see Nikki honored for her hard work and dedication to her staff and the residents in her care,” said Elizabeth Girling, vice president of operations for WellAge Senior Living, which owns and operates Arbor View Senior Living. “She deserves the award for being such an effective and caring leader.”
Overby joined the Arbor View Senior Living team in 2023 as the community’s Health and Wellness Director and Resident Care Coordinator. As a result of her dedication, training, and understanding of the community and resident needs, she was named the executive director and today she oversees day-to-day operations, including regulatory and budget compliance, sales and marketing, activities, goal setting, and staff development. She has 15+ years of caregiving experience including five years as an administrator designee at a Denver-based senior living community.
